POPE Questions God's Absence RE : Death Camp

Where was GOD? My God was there! Who was giving the people strength to live to fight another day? My God doesn't hurt, punish and kill. My God helps me to find my inner strength and inner peace. No matter, happy or sad. Where was GOD ? God is still there at the Death Camps. My God speaks to the World , and we can hear, smell, feel and be touched in all ways. This was a painful, shameful act of Human-Being gone mad with EGO! Does this question thrown out there by the newly selected POPE create a larger separation of his followers from a strength of knowing GOD? Will this question serve to fortify Catholic mindset; that all prayers and inner most thoughts must be delivered through a MEDIATOR ? Isn't this idea a form of Death Camp mentality; served with a softer death? Do any of my fellow Human Beings agree or disagree ? Claudia
